Thanks ECS Tuning and you guys have great products with good prices and offer great customer service.

Needed more cargo capacity not seating room (ML350 is a 5 seater, Mini had 4). Doing a lot of volunteer work with the family. And taking more vacations.

Thanks , we appreciate it.

Yea forgot you have the 2+2 seater MINI Countryman and not the 5 seater option in yours.

I bought my 2012 R60 2 months ago. Since then I have replaced the battery. This is battery #3 for the this car. Next I replaced the cup holders with 2013 OME cup holders. Then I found a set slightly used WeatherTech floor mats on craigslist. All 5 for $100. I also had the windshield replaced.

Hey Turbo, did you get the OEM Pilkington glass? Does it have the AS1 mark on it?

My 2013 still has the factory Pilkington glass and there is NO AS1 marker on it anywhere. SC tint law says that you can tint down to the AS1 mark, but I have none

Changed the oil with a factory filter and the 0W-40 Euro formula. The filter housing was craaaaazy hard to get off. Then it seemed crazy easy to finish tightening it back to 22NM with the torque wrench. No leaks though so I must have done it right.
I cant believe how much that tiny filter costs for what it is

Sounds like someone really tightened it on. First oil change or first after dealer free maintenance ?

Couple of shots from over the weekend. Love the ride and am super happy with the drop. The rear only rubs when I hit a very large bump but I think eventually it will just wear the plastic over fender down enough to not be an issue anymore. Plus the tires I went with are SUPER thick so I'm sure with standard style tires I will be fine.

What did I do to my Countryman today?

I turned over my first 100 miles driving it -

Even the Countryman is a blast to drive - and dropping the tranny and steering into sport mode going up Mt. Baldy Road . .. what a blast - the turbo keeps the power coming - I own a Porsche Boxster and while a Countryman is not a Boxster - honestly - its pretty damn close given the reality of the modern roadway and traffic. I could push the edges alot more in the Porsche - but rarely get the chance to.

Not today but a few days ago I've unpacked our new exhaust (Ragazzon front and rear muffler).
Will be installed this week.

bought it.....

2014 CountryMan (supposedly has Premium & Technology package) Oxford Green, white hat.

I just ordered WeatherTech floor liners. Any cargo-liner suggestion for the boot? It doesn't have flat-load-floor.

Cheers....

Yea they dont have a non flat load floor ( bottom mat yet ) for weathertech or Genuine MINI. We carry Weathertech for all MINIs now.

http://www.ecstuning.com/News/R60_MINI_Countryman_WeatherTech_Products_2011_2012 _2013_2014/

Maybe Weathertech will come out with something in the future.

The NM Rear Sway Bar is ok for the R60 (doesn't say it fits on their site)? Anyone running an NM Rear Sway Bar and an M7 MONSTER Strut Tower Brace on their Countryman?
