R60 Mini Connected Update
#3
Just upgraded. Calendar does show scheduled events, however you cannot add them from the connected screen. Good news is that "driving excitement" and "MINIMALISM analyzer" can now be accessed directly from the screen and you don't have to switch on and off from the phone. Foursquare is there, but I don't use it so I can't comment.

There are actually two updates for MINI Connected.
Earlier today, the App Store released the update to the App on the phone.
Back in April, BMW/MINI released a software update for the headunit in the car. That can be found at the Connected website. I hear some have had issues trying to install this update but I and others didn't have any problems.
Something else that's coming soon. Access to see your text messages and possibly email through the office feature. I have iOS 6 (beta 4) running now and have access to text messages.

Anyone else lose mission control when they updated? I had enabled it a week or so ago, and it's worked fine until the latest update, now I can't get it to work again. I also don't like that now you have to keep the screen on at all times. Liked it better when you could lock the screen. Especially at night, that screen lit up inside the car is distracting.

It disconnects.
Is your mission control still talking to you? Mine does show up, and shows it's enabled. But the voices are gone. How am I supposed to know when engine is warmed up? Or when they see rain in the future and want me to close the sunroof? Who will show excitement when I go full throttle?

Got excited for a minute…Someone mentioned that in addition to the mini connected app update, there also is a firmware update as well…..
http://www.mini.com/connectivity/sof...te/intro.html#
and it states "Improved support for email messages" but this is actually the update from back in April of this year…..As my screen read current version installed…probably to much to ask, calender and email in 1 week.
Perhaps with iOS6.
