What upgrades/mods do you think everyone ought to make?

I wanted to get an idea of what modifications/upgrades the community thinks are crucial for the R60. It's something totally new to me so I want to hear where I should or could start.

Where applicable, please include approximate cost and proficiency required.

I might be lambasted for putting this in the wrong sub-forum, but I wanted to open it up to a wider audience and hopefully get more participation.

The megan racing coilovers were the single best mod Ive done to my countryman. Makes the ride ALOT better than stock, and also makes driving alot more fun

Change to non-run flat tires as soon as your budget/tire wear allows. Ride quality difference is unbelievable.

I'm getting stripes and KW V3 coilovers done this month. Debating if I want to do an ECU tune or not. Also de-chroming, but that's not for everyone.

Upgrade to 2013 clutch from what I hear. Still stuck with weak and stinky 2012 version

Another thought --

Find a local SCCA Advanced Driver training event at a track and see what you (and the R60) are capable of doing BEFORE making any modifications. Sometimes, a lot of performance can be had by changing the nut that holds the steering wheel! These events may cost a couple of hundred dollars, but can make a significant difference in how any auto performs.

"Even with the most expensive and well-engineered clubs, I STILL can't play par golf!"

I'm adding lumber support to the leatherette seats.
Changing from run flats to a good Performance all season or summer tire is a must.
The coil overs are for the more serious driver but fun for anyone who drives.
I added X-pel hood bra and its already saved my paint from stones and the bugs just don't stick to it...

Change the antenna for a stubby one. Purely cosmetic but for thirty bucks and the car looks so much better.

Mine needs nothing. I ordered it how I wanted it. I have no complaints about any of the stuff you guys suggest. And I'm coming from a VERY heavily modified turbo miata.

OK maybe the hydrophobic coating on the windows was something I wanted but that's trivial.

The Oxspeed blow-off valve spring upgrade. It dramatically improved turbo ramp up on my 2011 CMSA4. As a side benefit, it also improved first gear starts with the clutch (by delivering power to the driveline more quickly).

The NM torque arm insert is a great upgrade if you have a manual.
