When one presses the hatch button on their key fob, does that just un-latch the hatch (didn't mean to rhyme) w/o unlocking doors OR is the hatch supposed to release and lift open? Mine has never lifted open but reading a few posts online has made me start to wonder...

Now that the Mini Dealer is finally open in Anchorage, I'm planning a run to get a few items looked at and need to see if this is one to add to the list.

If you press "just" button with the hatch open icon, it unlocks just the rear hatch. It will not open by itself, if that is what you were implying.
