Am I the only one that hates the key fob?

2011 CMSA4: key fob is sooo large I can barely get it out of my pocket easily. And the lock/unlock buttons are too small! In the dark, it's hard to get the fob into it's port to start the car.
Just complaining!
And sadly, nothing I can do about it!

Should have got the comfort access.

Bigger pants, smaller fingers, better night vision will cure all.

Just kidding, but the Comfort Access does make it easy. Don't find it too big or buttons too small.

I actually love our key fobs. They're different, not the usual rectangular remotes...The only minor annoyance is that there isn't a tiny LED lighting up the docking station for the Fob in the dash when it's dark outside.
You 'know' the docking station is right next to the lit up Start/Stop button, but a dim glow from the center of the docking station would be nice. My 2 cents

Small LED

Yes, a small LED would be a nice little project.

I don't really mind it, I like that it is unique (like the car), but it would be cool if the fob worked in the socket right side up, *and* up side down.

Does anyone have trouble with their rear door opening on their clubmans? Mine always opens on because ill sit on my key fob and it will hit the button. Can you disable this? I've already had my door hit another persons car.

Seriously? This is an "issue"?

Doh! I'd check with your service adviser, to see if reprogramming is an option (but won't be free). Another possibility might be to disassemble the remote to see if you can hack it internally; some options might include insulating the contacts for that button so they can't close the switch, remove the plunger from the micro-switch with needle nose pliers (destructive), dremmel out some material on the back of the plastic button and/or micro-switch so they don't make contact, or remove that plastic button altogether (would leave an unsightly hole in the fob).
