Countryman S muffler advice

Hi everyone,
this is my first ever post and I am happy to be apart of the mini community. Bought my first mini about a month ago and it's a 2012 Countryman S.

I've been researching mufflers to add as my first modification. Was wondering what people thought of the flowmaster super 10. I am really only looking for a mod that adds sound as of now.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Money is tight, paying off a new car, turn the stereo sound up and forget the muffler mod for now!

This is what I'm planning to do. Costs less, requires some hands-on, and will also yield some better exhaust flow. All aftermarket Countryman exhausts are way overpriced for what you get

For on the cheap. Go to muffler shop and have the 2nd catalytic converter and resinator replaced with a straight pipe. Muffler still muffles but is a little louder. You tube it.

This is what I recommend, it's amazing how much you can change the sounds by playing with the 2nd cat/resonator. You can straight pipe it if you want it to be a lot louder, or add a high-flow resonator in place if you want it to be just a bit louder.

Isn't that what VW said?
Look at the trouble that caused!

I took a stock muffler and opened it up and gutted it, welded up the baffles and deleted the res and second cat. Sounds awesome and pops and gurgles. And it was free!!!

Any muffler shop can do this? So all I'd be paying is labor and the straight pipe? Any recommendations for the pipe?
