Clunk!

My 2015 Countryman has just started exhibiting a strange problem and I'm curious to see if any other owners have experienced the same thing.

Under hard acceleration I get what can be best described as a clunk feeling from the engine bay followed by a complete lack of power. If I back-off and accelerate a bit more gradually everything seems fine.

The problem isn't consistent. There are trips where everything works perfectly. I've not been able to determine if the issue only occurs under specific conditions.

It's got just over 10K miles on it, so whatever the issue is will definitely be fixed under warranty. I'm just curious to see if this is a known issue before dropping it off at the dealer

Thats a strange one, where in the engine bay? Maybe something with the turbo wastegate or something ? Do you get a CEL, also the TC and DCS under pulls can under power the engine, but they dont make a noise.
