2012 Mini Countryman S Rough idle
Good Evening,
I am new to this forum as well as a new Mini Countryman owner.
I recently purchased a 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman S w/61,225 miles. When I start it, it starts fine but within 1 min., the RPM's drop, and the car starts to idle irattic for about 1.5-2 minutes then smooths out and is fine. Last week, check engine light came on so I took it back to the dealer yet again. In short, they found that the fuel pump needed to be replaced as well as needing new plugs. This morning, I started it up and the same symptoms are there. In fact, I started it up this evening and still had the same fires right up then within a minute, RPM drop, rough irattic idle.
Has anyone else on here had this issue? I forgot to ad, I did put some 44k in the tank about a week ago hoping that would help with carbon in the injectors.
Any help on this matter would greatly be appreciated.
