adding Rupse or similar aftermarket NAV to 2012 R60
Has anyone here installed a Rupse (aftermarket NAV system found on ebay or amazon) or similar NAV system to an R60 or similar model?
Looking to add this in place of the stupid BMW system and want to know what I'm getting myself into.
Thanks!

I have not installed that one, but I have experience with other Chinese Android head units in various vehicles.
1. The speedo is in Km/H - so be aware of that. There is no Mph one out currently.
2. They sound muddled vs stock.
3. The microphone doesn't always work on them and usually you have to add a new one. Sometimes desoldering the built in one.
My new to me r60 came with SiriusXM.. I'm not replacing the head unit until the previous owner cancels SiriusXM.. if they don't, figure they bought the lifetime service on the unit. (It's non transferrable to another head unit)
I have replaced the speakers and that made the world of a difference.
