Played with the F60 Cooper S Countryman configurator, but didn't seem to find a manual transmission option. The B38 engined Cooper does have the option. This is unprecedented. Surely this is an error, right?

 

Cooper S F60 won't have manual trans available at launch. Didn't hear why the delay, but it will be available at a later date.

Curiously, the S ALL4 will have the manual. Perhaps they're using a different gearbox for the S?

 

They ought to. You've got to admit that the current one, while "okay," is hardly great, and certainly not all that smooth-operating.
