Air Intake hose super oily

Here are two pics of my air intake hose. Each end is super oily and it wasn't like this before. I recently got the Engine Malfunction warning coming on and the dealer says I need a new turbo charger. The car runs great with no odd turbo charger noise and the light goes off and comes back on at times. All of a sudden I found my intake hose oily, could this be affecting my turbo sensor? What is is causing all the oil and should I be using a oil catch can? Car is a 2015 JCW All4 Auto.

Hmmm, even if you've got an issue with your pcv or turbo, there shouldn't be oil on the "outside" of the hose. It should be air tight!

it's certainly possible your bearing is shot and your turbo is spewing oil, but could also be your pcv, valve stem seals, or a few other things.

pull the hose off and have a look in there.
