HEY ALL YOU GRAPHIC MAKERS!!!

I saw a thread somewhere on NAM of a person who put a little chicken sticker over one of the blank buttons in their R56. That made me think: If someone sold a variety of little button-sized stickers to cover the blank buttons of those of us with OCD, they'd sell a TON!!! If anyone else thinks this would be a good idea, post below and maybe a vender will see there is an interest and start making them.

Do you know what it would cost MSFITOY if he had to label all of his switches?

Didn't the "Unofficial MINI Owners Guide" come with a set of alternative toggle stickers? I know I got some in the mail in a promotional package from MINI after I bought my '06. Don't have them anymore though.

That would be good for the button between Sport and DSC, in front of the stick shift.

I only have one other blank button. It is next to the defrost button, IIRC.

DIVE would be good.

Kind of long, but I'd like ENGAGE

Since most buttons have graphics, perhaps some graphics are in order.

Here are other planet symbols from NASA. For larger version, click here

Mars & Venus are, of course, used for male and female. You can put what meaning you want on a button with one of those symbols.

A parachute might be a good symbol.

How about an anchor?

I'd like a lighting bolt ala Hammer and Coop. Or, for any of you who have played Mario Kart for N64, a mushroom (boost) or maybe a turtle shell. How about a Banana Peel? The possibilities are endless. I hope someone sees this thread and brings some of our ideas into reality!

Well, yes, I can figure those out easily enough -- but I'm still trying to figure out the symbol for Uranus.

Gee, I thought that black dot was self-explanatory.

I thought of this one on my way home from work this morning: I want a FUNK button for between my SPORT and DSC buttons. That would be epic...

Good question... and how many would you need anyways? I only have 2 blank buttons. $1 each? I don't know how much it would cost to make them. I personally would spend up to $5 or so since it is a one time expense. Is that realistic?

I only have two blank buttons, the one between sport and DSC and the leftmost one next to the defroster. "EJECT" or "NOS" would be really fun.

I am waiting on my R56 right now, but I'm already designing cover-up stickers for the warning labels on the visors - now I may design some little button sticks too. This could be fun.

Aesthetic Creations already has some very cool vinyl stickers that are black with the MINI logo in silver on them to cover the nasty yellow warnings perfectly. I have them and appreciate them every time I get in my MINI and look up. They look awesome...

this is a cool idea...does anyone know where I can get a switch? I didn't get the reverse fogs so I'll need a switch to put in the blank spot...with an eject image under it, haha

I saw those AC ones, which led me to think about doing my own...they're cool, but I wanted something a litte different & fun. I'll post 'em when they're done (please, no breath-holding....)

Does anyone know about how big (small) the blank buttons are? My car is on a boat....

I put on the ones from the welcome package. . ."self destruct sequence" and "ejector seat" where I'm missing DSC and aux lights. . .

I'd always be down for: or or or "FUNK".
