Week 36 09 Clubman
Ask Mini says I am scheduled for production in Week 36. I got my Production Number on 7/28/08, but reserved a slot and put down a deposit at the end of June (too late for an 08 model, but before the 09's were ready), so I was "first in line" for an 09 Clubman at my dealer.

MCS DS/B, ordered 7/19, trackable on OL 7/30, Ask Mini confirmed week 36.
On OL, my vehical spec is missing Xeon and brush alloy interior options. Should I be concerned? My MA says dealer installable will not show on OL spec, but I thought Xeon and interior trim are factory installed.
EDIT - Nevermind... I simply didn't scroll down enough on the spec. box.

Add me to the list of Week 36. My old car (2000 Honda Civic EX) died (my wife thinks I sabatoged it just so I could get a new car before she does )
Placed the order 7/29 and my MA called today with the order number. I was a bit concerned that the order details didn't list the upgraded stereo or the all-season tires, but my MA assured me that the are on the order.
I hate having to wait, so it is nice to share the wait with others!

I'm also a Week 36er! My boyfriend and I were trying to make an educated guess as far as delivery date is concerned. We're thinking I should be able to pick it up (in Ohio) about a month after my MINI ('09 Cooper) is born. Sooo...early October. Does that estimate seem about right to you guys?

Early October is as good a guess as any. My MA is saying end of September here in Rhode Island, and I would think both cars would be coming in via New Jersey, so a few more days to get to Ohio makes sense.
866-ask-mini cautioned that production could move either way, though, and it is hurricane season . . .

Week 36 here. I waited 6 months for my '02 and 2 months for the '06 only because production was slowed down to make changes for the '07 model.
Now there's a slow down for August vacations. However, the first week of '09s should move quickly to shipping, through inspection at the VDC and delivery to dealers since there will be fewer Mini's waiting ahead of us.
My bet is that Week 36 cars will begin arriving at dealers on the east coast before the end of September. Since I already own one, the wait will be alot easier. Best wishes, everyone!
*Laser Blue/White with chrome mirrors and JCW engine kit. My first turbo,
too.

Hello fellow week 36ers! I gather most/all of us are getting model year 2009? Just curious, how many of us contracted for 2008 cars and now, because of dealer allotment, are getting 2009s?
Those who enjoy major "you-ifying" will be disappointed with my basic Clubman (can any MINI be basic?) but here's the spec:
2009 MCC/PW/S/S, manual, sport seats (cloth), fog lights and xenon headlights. Ordered 5/18, production number assigned 7/25, Status: On order.

Amen to that! My new baby (still feels weird saying that) can't get here soon enough, as I've quickly run out of patience with my Pontiac. (And my family - us being in Detroit and all - has practically disowned me for not signing up for another GM. I am SO not kidding.)
That said, I'm sure it'll all be worth it once my MINI gets here! Judging from what some of you said, not too long to go. Which begs the question - how in the world do I pass the time until late Sept/early Oct????

And how bad am I already? I was just looking at WW and K-Line schedules hoping to see which ships are making the run from Southampton to Charleston (my destination port) after our build week. Mercy, this is only gonna get worse. To think I used to laugh at obsessive types.
Oh, and the answer is: the schedules don't go that far into September yet.

I just found out today from my MA that my MCS is week 36 production! Well happy to join you guys. Seems like most of you here are on the East Coast and MidWest. The wait should not be too long for you guys, but for me and fellow West Coasters...probably at least 2.5 more months to go.....
Here is a good post with nice tracking info and things to do to kill time. Enjoy!

I'm a week 26er poaching on your thread. I ordered mine on June 28. '08 MCSa and I'm picking it up in Mentor, Ohio tomorrow. Ohio MINIs actually come through Charleston rather than New Jersey. Good luck to you all. The wait can seem like forever, but NAM certainly helps.

I don't have a production number yet, so I don't know which week I'm in. MA says to call him the middle of next week. I ordered on 8/2 from East Bay Mini.
See you around town in a few months.
