Enkei PF01

This wheel looks amazing and uses the MAT technology used with the RPF-1. Tire Rack has them being available early next year.

I was looking for wheels. I think i may have found the ones i will be purchasing. What do ya'll think?

Oh btw, here is the link to enkei's site. They are available in 17x7 +45.

http://www.enkei.com/pf01.html

The sizing chart says the bore is 75. So will these fit an r56?

If you look at the engineering chart, size in 4x100 is a 7 inch wheel. With hub rings, reducing the 75 to 56.1, the wheel should work.

Noted in 16 inch the wheel was 13.9 lbs. Good weight for a nice looking wheel.

I would try to see them in person sometime before buying.

Great looking wheel - I have the RS+M in 17x7 ET45 and they are a perfect fit for the R56. The quality of finish is excellent. Mine came with metal centering rings which worked great and the wheels came off the hub easily when it was (sadly) time to remove them for winter.

With the 16s being 13.9 lbs, i dont really see these being much lighter than the rpf1's. But the weights hasn't been released yet(for the 17's). Enkei claims that this wheel is going to take the MAT technology "to the next level". So with that being said:

They aren't out yet. I've been searching the net for more info, but all i find in my searches is forum speak just like this. Go to tire rack, you may be able to use their system to give you a good idea of what they'll look like on your car.

Oh yeah? Tire rack had them for sale a few months ago! But they weren't actually out yet, are you sure RAugie? I'm getting them too. definitely would look sick with a black powdercoat maybe.

*edit

I was looking at the wheel on tirerack and it has an estimated availability date of March. Its displayed under the bolt pattern info on this page:
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

Upon another glance, i see the 16s are projected to be available next month! with the 17s about 15 days later. So there you go. I'll be monitoring the sight, and i'll update the thread if i find any news on these wheels.

What size wheel and tire combo are people thinking about running? I'm wanting to do a 17x7 with 225 rubber et 38.

FYI: If you are thinking about getting 17s, you can only get them in a 17x7 size for the 4x100 bolt pattern. Hopefully they increase the number of applications once the wheel catches on.

I'm considering the 17x7 if my Brembo can fit. Maybe Alex will chime in with some more information soon.

I will let you know how they'd work with the BBK once we have them in stock to measure!

Alex, are the prospective dates for these to be available (as annotated on the website) accurate?

I'm sure Tire Rack will have the weights on their website as soon as they get the wheels in stock. Preliminary weights according to Enkei's site for the 15's are 12 pounds. Light enough for ya'?

Truthfully, I was hoping they'd be less.....my SSR Comps are under 10# but they don't fit the 09 (I have them on my 06). Aren't the Enkei RPFs like 9.5?

Under 10#? That's amazing. I run 17" so I'm not used to the single digit neighborhood.

SSRs are forged rims, really strong and light but expensive. But, I do not think the SSRs in 17" are less than 13 lbs.

According to the Enkei website, the PF01 are designed for BBKs so I am hopeful they will fit. I am also hoping the 17" PF01 weighs in less than 14.5 lbs.

It may also be possible to add a small spacer if a little more space is needed..

Look at the size chart posted on the website. There is actual weights on it. According to that, the 16x7's are going to be 13.9 lbs and the 18x7.5's are going to weigh 17.2 lbs. So I suspect the 17x7's will weight between 15 and 15.5 lbs.

There is a note at the bottom indicating that the "posted weights are at engineering stage". So these weights should give us some general idea of where we'll sit once we get them!! These will go good with the Koni Yellow's i just bought!! I love moddin my little hot rod!

I hope they fit BBK too, but I'll be satisfied if they come in at anything under 15.5#

I may consider the RFP1 as well since it is 14.6 lbs. Not sure if that fits the bbk?
