Through all of this, I've learned that the MINI timelines are consistently inconsistent (aka unpredictable). I'm still hoping to make the Talisman on 9/6, but the 8th would be okay too. According to the WWL site, the Talisman is a bright red color (chili red?) It matches may JCW's top, so I'm assuming that gives me some priority. Makes sense to me. I'm sure MINI is taking that into account for their shipping scheduling.
Unpredictable....for sure! The Talisman route is long (61 days) with many port stops out of US waters, but the 1st is in Baltimore. Take a look at Freedom's route. Stops in Baltimore 1st, GA, SC, TX all US ports. Depends on how many other MINI's at the terminal and their destination ports? Either vessel would bring your Chili Red/Island Blue JCW home though

Hope they checked my boot for Jack Sparrow pirate stow-a-ways Keep us posted! All loaded with @darex today and then depart for one last pick-up in Southhampton. The journey across the "Big Pond" begins

I asked MA not to remove the white seals on the tailgate sills but too late for the door ones

Yup- I bought the iPad app and it has been working nicely. Seems like a good use of $5. This should become a bit more entertaining, tracking speeds, winds, etc. and arrival at different ports. Fedora is headed to Southampton next.

Luckily I saw the vessel which Rocky was loaded on passed through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge via the traffic Webcam and took a snapshot just after waking up

Hopefully, you're right, but I am kind of intrigued by Kwolfman's unique color combination.

Just checked the scheduled route for Tortugas this morning. ETA in New York bumped to Thursday, 9/14 now. That's okay with me since forecasting Irma's path right now, it could possibly hit the East Coast Carolina's with 5-day projecting from the European Hurricane model tracking. Will have to keep a close eye on it and hope that the US coastline doesn't get hit with another monster storm.

I think Southampton should kick them out, send them on their way, and have them "floor-it," to make up for lost time. They're lallygagging! What say you?

Well, I'm sure anxious to get mine ASAP and safe and sound in my garage On the other hand, I want a safe and calm journey too! Not asking for much, huh?! Just keeping everything crossed that damn Irma turns out to sea and doesn't hit the Eastern Coast Want them to make doubly sure all the precious cargo is tight and secure! They pack them in like sardines with two tie-down in the front and two in the back and only about 4" side-to-side from each other.

Hope this part of the journey isn't going to be a "nail biter"!!!

Latest Irma update about 40 minutes ago:

"Hurricane Irma regained strength Sunday to a Category 3 storm, with winds at 115 mph and an unpredictable path that might strike the United States next week anywhere between Florida and Nova Scotia." Also said, they didn't want anyone freaking out yet but be prepared and on alert! Sure....I'm already starting to freak out!!

Still no records of my VIN in the WWL system, which seems to align with my assumptions that it will most likely be booked on the Freedom - which after checking today was pushed back to 9/9 for departure.

Lucikly according to the WWL website their port in Galveston suffered no damage from Harvey and will be fully operational tomorrow.

That's great news about port in Galveston We'll know better about the track of Irma over the next three days for the Eastern Coastline. I'm also checking on notifications on WWL's website. Better to be in a safe port and wait a few more days than in open sea with Irma's potential to be a CAT4! None of us would want to go through the whole production process if our cars got damage aboard ship!

Keep us posted

You and me both! It is interesting that the colors on the screen on the miniusa site are quite different than the colors on the UK site. To my eye the colors on the UK site is closer to reality. The little JCW in my signature was from that site.

Here's the UK site in case others want to look at various combinations.

Watching on http://shipfinder.co/ is pretty cool viewing realtime Satellite image of Tortugas in channel. Click on ship image and gives details and destination of port. Halifax 1st, arriving 9/12 at 9:30:-)
