I've been doing the same thing today with essentially the same results. My status hasn't changed. I'm still waiting for transport. Entering my VIN into the WW site still turns up nothing. AskMINI and OL both say waiting for transport. Looks like I missed my Freedom.
I think the Otello is next on the 11th heading for Baltimore. Like you said, it looks like the Tongala is loading up tons of MINIs. Maybe they will make room for my JCW to be delivered from the factory to the port to be loaded on the Otello.
(SM) I hope you actually made it on the Freedom, because the next ship to Galveston is the Tombarra on the 22nd.

What did you end up ordering? Trim level, colors, features, etc..

It was not an option for the SE in the US. Roof racks came as standard on ours.

I've never been sure how I feel about the rails to begin with. Hoping they come out with some plugs of sorts to be able to take them off and hide the holes.

Verrry nice. The all black look will be amazing, I'm sure. Hopefully they have the ADA situation resolved by the time yours go to be built so you won't have any delays.

I called ASK MINI today and my JCW has finally made it to Zeebrugge. However WW doesn't show my VIN yet. The next ship to Baltimore is the Salome on the 14th arriving at Balto on 9/24, just a bit behind you. That ship has a long trip after dropping my JCW off. It continues on to New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and Japan. I hope they actually pull to a stop to drop off my car off and not try to make up time on a tight schedule.

That's Great! Hopefully fair winds and a smooth ride. I agree that the Polaris Highway is your likely ship.

I didn't even realize there were black roof rails, would look pretty sweet with my black roof. Looking at the two build sites, it appears to be an option in the UK, but in the US it is standard only for the JCW with no option for the original silver rails. Interestingly to note, it also changes the side "skid" plates along the bottom of the doors from silver to black as well.
Ugh. From a quick look, it appears I'd need to get under the headliner. :(
