I think the Otello is next on the 11th heading for Baltimore. Like you said, it looks like the Tongala is loading up tons of MINIs. Maybe they will make room for my JCW to be delivered from the factory to the port to be loaded on the Otello.

(SM) I hope you actually made it on the Freedom, because the next ship to Galveston is the Tombarra on the 22nd.
Many CMs will be loaded on Otello and you may just wait. I didn't know if my car was loaded on vassel until few hours before departure

Thanks! I'm crossing my fingers that I'm on the Polaris Highway from K-Line if not. It was loaded earlier this week and would actually arrive several days before the Freedom. Going to be calling ASKMINI tomorrow to hopefully find out; once its loaded on a ship they'll be able to tell me which one.

Congrats!!! Exciting times ahead, it's been a very fun experience for me thus far even though the wait can be unbearable at times

What did you end up ordering? Trim level, colors, features, etc..

I noticed on the U.K. Build site you can opt for the black roof rails. I really want that option for my build but my MA said 'only an option for the CW'. Anyone know if it is possible to get the black rails on an SE here in the states??

It was not an option for the SE in the US. Roof racks came as standard on ours.

I didn't even realize there were black roof rails, would look pretty sweet with my black roof. Looking at the two build sites, it appears to be an option in the UK, but in the US it is standard only for the JCW with no option for the original silver rails. Interestingly to note, it also changes the side "skid" plates along the bottom of the doors from silver to black as well.

I've never been sure how I feel about the rails to begin with. Hoping they come out with some plugs of sorts to be able to take them off and hide the holes.

Verrry nice. The all black look will be amazing, I'm sure. Hopefully they have the ADA situation resolved by the time yours go to be built so you won't have any delays.

Spoke to a representative at ASKMINI today and they were able to tell me my MINI left on 9/06 and is scheduled to arrive at the port on 9/22. This corresponds with the K-Line schedule for the Polaris Highway.

That's Great! Hopefully fair winds and a smooth ride. I agree that the Polaris Highway is your likely ship.

I called ASK MINI today and my JCW has finally made it to Zeebrugge. However WW doesn't show my VIN yet. The next ship to Baltimore is the Salome on the 14th arriving at Balto on 9/24, just a bit behind you. That ship has a long trip after dropping my JCW off. It continues on to New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and Japan. I hope they actually pull to a stop to drop off my car off and not try to make up time on a tight schedule.

Tortugas ahead of schedule by 7 hours! Will be docking by 10:30 in Halifax this morning instead of 5:30. Will be watching departure for NY. Maybe earlier arrival for Wednesday?!

Gah... I need. I wonder what would be involved in replacing my silver roof rails w/ the black ones.

Ugh. From a quick look, it appears I'd need to get under the headliner. :(

No, I think it was LATE (24hr time).
It's there now though.

The solution, in a word, "Paint".
