Tags just arrived and I stopped by the dealership to pick them up. It looked like Kwolfman's JCW has not been delivered to the dealership

 

Thanks for checking. I haven't heard from my MA so I figured it hasn't been delivered yet. MINI Owner's lounge and my MA both think it will be tomorrow. Boy and I sick of waiting

Logged in this morning. Status says "En Route To Distribution Center".

 

More likely it's at the casino in Baltimore. Maybe it can win enough to pay for itself!

Turned on my signature in hopes that the JCW image's mojo will help get the car delivered today

 

It ate too many Berger Cookies, and had to have its gas tank pumped?

 

Well the mojo worked. The JCW was delivered to my dealership late this afternoon. I will be picking it up tomorrow morning. Exactly three months and two days since order.

I had my MA take some pictures just off the truck. Of course I'll be taking more over the next few days.

OL now says mine arrives tomorrow. My Melting will disappear in the background next to yours!

It's STUNNING. I never would have thought of putting those colors together but you are going to get some serious staring.

 

Completed production on 10/2. Arrived at the dock on 10/5 and setting sail for CA on 10/8. After an incredibly crappy week....just the good news that I deserve.

 

Fantastic Seems like a whole bunch of us all at once.

Of course my car will also draw the wrong kind of attention from the cops while yours will go wizzing by!

 

Thanks everyone for the complements. Today was the first time I have seen that color combination on an actual car, rather than just computer renderings. I still haven't seen it in real life. I can't wait for tomorrow morning. A restless night is ahead.

As I told my MA, I have used the bimmer.work web site and I have looked at the configurations for all of the JCWs before and after mine, as of a few days ago. I believe no one else has chosen this combination. I admit I was taking a chance. I kept waffling around with various grey/red combinations, which all looked great, but I kept coming back to the island blue. That color is beautiful in real life. When I put the Chili Red sample card from the dealership board next to the blue, I really liked the combo. Actually the red is never directly next to the blue. There is always some black in between.

So, again Thanks. I'll put a few more pictures in the F60 picture thread when I get the chance. FYI, the interior is the black cross-punched leather.

WOWWOW!!! Absolutely s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g!!!! Knowing how difficult it is to photographed this Island Blue color and how gorgeous it is in person, I can only imagine how the Chili Red looks with it in person

Found today that mine is loaded on the Don Carlos which is set to leave port on Tuesday. ETA is 10/18 in New York ... New York? I thought cars that went to Mt. Holly NJ would disembark at Baltimore.

Looks great! Does all JCW's come with black roof rails? I never saw that option when building mine.
