Hi guys,

I found that when i put my V I N code in here i do get a newer software, but it doenst work on my car.
Maybe because i already got an update through the dealer or it isn't really for my car.
Strange thing is i can't find the link for mini. It seems dissapeared...

I put my last 7 in and nothing happened.
Guess I upset them the last time I was in.

 

Intrigued by this, I went to the site, entered my VIN and was prompted to download a .bin file, which I did. I also downloaded a Software Update Information PDF which lists the various update versions available in the file. Those update versions begin with TB & MB 001.xxx.xxx, 002.xxx.xxx, 003.xxx.xxx, and 005.xxx.xxx. The existing software in my auto begins with TB & MB 006.xxx.xxx... thus the update is NOT newer software than what is already installed in the car... so I am not even going to attempt to run the update. I did have my software updated by the dealer to take care of the autonomous tailgate opening problem, so maybe that's why I have a later version than what has been posted. The owners manual tells how to find the current installed version, and I'd recommend checking there first before trying any update.

 

 

Mine is 006 too, because of dealer update.
