F60 Bimmer Coding the F60
#128
Hello,
[size=13px]Just checking in before i run out of my return window. Would I be able to use the two products below as well as my iPhone in order to code my 2019 F60 (Using my phone as I'm not sure my computer would be in range of my/any wifi). Was mostly interested in Fullscreen carplay and folding mirrors...

Thank you,
Byron

Your call... seemed you were worried about laptop wifi connectivity, so were going to purchase an additonal component to use your phone - enet to lightning adapter - and there is some question whether the adapter would function. Just curious, were you going to use a phone app to code? Will it code what you want? Not sure - but I think you can't use a phone for coding the HU for CarPlay. If so, why use a OBD ENet cable and adapter? Bluetooth OBDII adapter works fine. Otherwise, OBD - ENet for your laptop.

Oh sorry for the confusion. I was definitely thinking this setup and was more curious if these adapters worked...if anyone had experience with them.
Bluetooth adapters - not a fan of - are generally more expensive and the lightning to ethernet might have multiple uses
And why wouldn't the phone app code? My other option is the android app (Chromebook). I don't have a formal laptop...other than my work computer.
