2021 MINI Countryman?
The lease on our 2017 F60 S All4 expires at the end of February. Speaking with our dealer about our options, he told us that the 2021 Countryman will be coming earlier than expected. He went on to say that orders for the 2021 F60 will start in March with deliveries in May. Has anyone heard anything along these lines?

Probably because a touch screen is offered now. Kinda makes the point of a touch pad obsolete. The only thing I ever tried to use my touch pad for in my M235 was when the voice recognition couldn't understand my country *** voice when entering an address lol.

I have the touch screen and the touchpad. Touchpad is very useful when searching for tunes, phone numbers, etc.

What is IMO a design flaw of the trans cooler mounted behind the open vent in the front bumper, leading to my coolant being dumped all over the freeway during a family road trip last week 200 miles from home , ended up with me in a 2020 Cooper S loaner for a couple hours. Have to say I hated the new Auto trans lever. I don't understand why car companies need to take something so simple, standard, and intuitive, and change it. At this point, why even have the lever at all? Just stick a few buttons on the center console for D, R, and P and leave it at that.

Do you have the Order Guide for MY2021 or did your dealer help you through the process since the online Build Your Mini is still 2020 models?

The dealer guided me through it. FYI for 2021, besides some exterior changes like the front grill, the Union Jack taillights and the New Oval MDI behind the sterring wheel, the Countryman S Signature includes Navigation and Carplay capabilities, Harmon Kardon w/ 1 year Sirius XM, power tailgate and some more rim choices..

So my 2021 F60 has been built and is at the port in Zeebrugge awaiting transport. According to the WW site, it has been assigned to the Manon which departs on 9/4 and is scheduled to arrive at the port in NY on 9/20. With a little luck, we'll have it at the end of the month or very early in October.

Use the URL below, without the quotes of course, and append your full VIN to end after the = sign. If WW has "received" your vehicle, it will display the manifest information.
"https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/ocean.do?method=displayOceanQuickSearchResult&ocea nQuickSearchCriteria.cargoId=" (there should be no spaces in the URL, NAM is adding the space)
I will add that you can review shipping schedules (select port Zeebrugge and your destination port, most likely NY) and it will show the vessels and dates for that route.
Let me know if this works for you. It should.
