Sirius XM install - help
hey guys, I am trying to install Sirius XM on my 2016 Countryman. I have the subscription from Sirius activated, but it doesn't show up in the Radio option on the screen and Sirius does not know why. I took it to the local Mini dealer for their free 30' assessment, and they told me it needs the factory satellite radio app installed but that it'd be upwards of $600. It sounded like it was just the software, so I am hoping that there is an other option for the install - a cheaper one. I definitely don't want to have an additional side unit/accessory - I want it integrated into the factory radio system. Can anyone help?
thx, Nathan

yes, i think they have to flash it for the app on the screen. Activation code is what they call it, should come with one year service also.
Anotehr option if you have the smaller or larger OEM MINI screen
Carplay and then download the XM app and use carplay, only works with 6.5" screen or 8.8" screen.
