Bimmercode App

That's so weird, when I tried coding it like 4-5 months ago it didn't work and it was stuck at 3 blinks. Then I coded it like amonth or so ago without me going to the dealer, just updated the Bimmercode app and it started working. I've had 5 blinks turn signal tap option for last few months now. I'm 2016 F56 Cooper S 2-door.

I had mine coded and working with 5 blinks then had dealer update at first service. That put it back to 3 and now don’t seem to have option to change setting to 5 in Bimmercode

I did it in both modes and it didn't work no matter what I did. It was still 3 blinks for like a month after that and then all of a sudden I started getting 5 blinks. I don't know if I updated the Bimmercode app or something but my car wasn't at the dealer in that time period so it can't be that they did anything with the software on my car. Just weird is all, and that's after Stephan from Bimmercode posted that they don't allow for the blink rate to be changed from 3 to 5 anymore.

Doh. Must have been part of the update performed during service on the F56 as I'm sure the option wasn't there before. On the Countryman the option is there. Thanks...I'll check.

Got my car to always default to sport mode, but I can't find the seatbelt beeping option. Can someone help me out please? I'm not super tech savvy so I don't want to eff anything up!
Never mind. I got it! This app rocks!

Waiting for the day someone sells their Carly dongle or offers a "rental" service for a few days lol.

Hi! Can you be more specific about what means "stopped supporting"... Stefan blocked this adapter from working in the next app's updates or just does not guarantee correct work with it? If everything works well now, can I continue to use it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Not guaranteed to work.

As for the rear fog light as brake light, the base Cooper has a single central fog light, not left and right - would the coding be different?
Thinking of taking the plunge on my 2019, disabling the "safety" screen since it takes far to long to auto dismiss compared to my 2007.. and seems to chime forever. So if I can get that, at the moment, useless light to do something I would like to.

It sure looks like there is a bulb in there, but it's hard to tell. It could all just be ornamental - lens and chrome around it.
