Well, I bought a set of lights to have as a backup for when I did the Joey Mod. Everything turned out great with that project. So These are the OEM lights that came on my 04 MINI S. I've hung on to them for a few weeks to make sure nothing happened to the joey set. I really hate to sell them, but i need the money for an upcoming trip to nyc. Everything is included, R and L headlamps, ballasts, high and lowbeam bulbs, black rings, and chrome rings. The black rings need to be repainted if you want to use them over the chrome, they have some paint chips (i tried to get by using just krylon fusion without any prep work.) The black rings do have some missing tabs, but are held on securely. The chrome rings are in near perfect shape with every tab intact. lamps have washers attached as well. the lenses are in excellent condition with no visible scratches... little to no pitting(was on car for 35k miles) The one exception is on the lower left corner of the Passener lens that is underneath the headlight ring, broke off. The missing portion has no bearing of function or looks. Once rings are in place (liked pictured) you can not even see the missing portion. it was a small thin piece that snapped off. No one would ever know unless rings are removed...just trying to be honest

let me stress, these are my oem lights, they have never been worked on or had a joey mod attempted on them. I used the other set i purchased off someone to do the joey mod. Looking to get $395 OBO shipped in continental US. These will be good for those of you who want to go HID , or someone whos wanting to attempt a joey mod, and want to have a safety backup.(like i did)

Question: What's a Joey Mod?

 

The "Joey Mod" is when you remove the outer headlight lens and paint the chrome surrounding the actual lights body color or whatever else suits your fancey.
