Not sure if this will work in a MINI, but ....

We recently sold our Audi A6 Avant and bought a new Lexus. We had previously upgraded the Audi headunit to an Eclipse AVX2404 Double Din DVD Player so our 2 year old could watch movies in the car. When we traded in the Audi, we removed the Eclipse and replaced the factory stereo.

This is a great head unit! The AVX2404 offers 5.1 multichannel theater sound to enhance DVD movie enjoyment and decodes dts, Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Pro Logic. It uses a touch screen and is also Memory Stick compatible.

is there a way to run video/audio IN acting like a monitor?

 

fyi i just took my dash apart to see if i could retro fit a double din into it and it is not possible with out alot of fabrication and moving of vital ac parts
but this is a great deal for a double din screen which are extremely hot right now

 

There is a video in for a backup camera. But I don't think there is an audio in.

 

Thanks for the tip. After taking it out of our Audi, I didn't really want to remove the stock h/u and move the a/c controls and put it in my MINI.
