- @1253 HO/B MC Cabrio on 22 westbound by Stevenson HS. Thanks for the wave.
- @1255 PW/B MC 22 & 21. Waved late did not see if I got one back as I crossed the intersection.

 

10 am this morning got a honk and thumbs up from a dark green Isuzu Trooper at 45 and Grand in Gurnee.

 

Orange with Black stripes MCC on Martin ave near Edwards hospital @ 3:45 Got the wave.

Spotted 2 MINIs within 20 feet of each other, with over 130 miles motoered today.

RG/B MCS, golfer on your plate, no front and missing tow hook hole cover, on Algonquin Rd. from Golf to Busse, and then a

CR/W with black bra on the bonnet

Thanks to both for the wave, not sure if the CR/W saw my wave as I was ina nd out of traffic, and I played with the RG so I know he saw my wave.

 

So I'm driving downtown tonight for dinner....I get on at Deerfield Rd on the Edens and see a very nice Mini up ahead so I high-tail it up there to catch up, only to see that it's Adam! And, to make matters more interesting, Marco cuts in line (like out of the blue from the fast lane) ---- having just picked up his car from Knauz after Adam drove him up there to get it.

We enjoyed a nice three-car caravan all the way down the Edens, passing a couple in a nice Blue cabrio at Tower Rd --- seemingly oblivious to the fact that three good looking Minis were passing them (no wave or any form of recognition). At some point we were joined by a mysterious man in a nice Green / Green MCS. He joined us for a while, making a unique caravan of 4 Minis during rush hour, before falling back. Who was that mysterious person?

All in all, traffic was horrendous; the trip was much longer than it should have been, but it was made more interesting by our caravaning, including our making traffic holes for one another.

Yet another routine day livened up by the Mini and strength of the Mini community....

 

i dont think it was me, i was actually at the air show and in the same parking lot i parked i saw an IB/W MCS

dont worry, i had to think about it for a bit too, lol. But yeah that was a lot of fun. 3 cars worked really well zipping in and out of traffic. Especially when the 3 drivers are as crazy as we are

Funny that I have never seen this section of the board. And last night i find it to find that I have been spotted and talked to. I'm sure I will see you all around, and I expect a wave back!!!! Man there are some bitchy cell phone drivin mini owners in the city. Give them a wave or nod and they zap me with eye lazers.

Waved and got a "why are you waving at me look" but got the wave back.

Spotted a PH/W or IB/W MC in the genral Bull Valley area with all the twisties and trees around sunset; how's that for detailed . I waved you where busy turning into your drivewat, but I think you waved back in spirit so its okay.

7:15 this morning on Golf and Shermer saw a Mint Green(don't know the abrv) MC waved as I blew by in the right lane. God I love that supercharger! Didn't notice if they waved back or not, Sorry.

 

JB MCC on 59 @ North ave. around 13:15. Had driving lamps on which I thought was strange.

I wonder if that's the same BRG/B MCS I saw parked by me at Home Depot at Dundee/Rand around 5:15?

 

I am very surprised we haven't run into each other yet. I work right at Hintz and Milwaukee. I also drive all around that area alot during the day. Though it was not me at Home Depot.

 

CR/W MC? thing that stood out was the huge 3 on the door. I know the plates were vanity...21:30 in downtown Downers Grove across from Emmits in the pouring rain and hail
