I saw some MINIs today.

EB/W MCS on 126 between Yorkville and Plainfield. I waved and so did you.

CR/W MC on 126 Again. No wave.

PS/B I think, on 30 in Plainfield. No wave.

Finally, in Dwight, at That 50's Place Diner. I parked next to a CR/W MC. I saw you smile as you got to your car and saw mine next to yours.

 

Spotted:

• HB/W - MC @ 3:30pm - Parked next to a hummer by Old Navy on Demptster
• CR/W MC @ 4pm - SB Harlem Ave by Shermer Rd... I waved

 

why thank you I'll keep spotting and waving in the hopes we'll get more MINI owners to join us

 

dang, i cant believe noone other than shukes24 has spotted me over
the last 3+ yrs.

 

Well maybe you need to motor more

03:15 thats right AM 290 and Thorndale there was a Some Dark Color (SDC)/W with bonnet stripes headed south as I was northbound.

 

14:00ish PW/B 12& 59 flashed, no response
14:30ish PS/B 14 & 68 (NW highway and dundee) Blinked, no response
Around 16:00 HB/B Popped out of traffic and passed me while I was on 83 as they were turning left to Midolthian I confess to missing the chance to wave on that one, but I also didn't catch any wave coming my way ethier.

 

Spotted today between 1-1:30pm:

• CoB/B - MCC - W Diehl Rd / Weaver Pkwy
• VR/B - MCS? - SB 355 near Roosevelt Rd
• EB/W - MCS - SB Arlington Hts Rd / 90 exit

 

Spotted: CR/W MCS pulling onto the Edens at Dempster this morning at about 7:00..
I was a couple cars ahead, and couldn't wave.

 

Spottted northbound on the Edens this morning @7:15ish AM:

HB/B MCSC.

Yesterday,

In the IKEA Schaumburg parking lot. I spotted:

PW/B MCS, good parking job, way out there next to an island. You turned and looked at your car three times.

HB/W, just parked between a couple of cars.

I also learned that a few old friends that I have not seen in a few years have a PW MCSa. Not the PW that I saw in the lot though.

 

Little after to a SB Cabrio (duh) Wolf and Palatine I was makinga right you were making a left, both hands were on the wheel so I couldn't wave but I wanted to hopefully you read this

 

Spotted today:

• LY/W - MC @ 9am wb Golf Rd near River Rd

not sure if this counts.. but I saw a HO/B MCC on EB 90 near Arlington Hts Rd @ 2pm.. I was looking out the window at work and saw it zipping by...

8:10 One MINI on Eslton I think it was PS not sure (obviously didn't wave so I didn't remember)
MINI pictured below I think this was on Addison, but I was on so many streets I can't remember for sure.

sorry only had the camera phone, b/c these oppurtunities only ever happen when when I forget the real camera.

That last one would have been around 8:30-8:45.

 

Hey... I recognize that storefront... ooohh that's by "the Alley" (Clark/Belmont). I used to hang out in that general area when I was in college... Medusa's, Reckless Records, Century Mall, the Vic... those were the days

 

Yesterday was the day of Mini's.

DS/B MCS in the Summit parking lot in Park Ridge at around 4:30pm
DS/B MCS in the parking lot of GoSee?!?! on North Ave at 5:25pm
AB/B ?? pulled over by the Po-po on Orleans around 5:30pm
And finally a AB/B MCS on the Kennedy going north, I would have motored along with you but traffic was slow and I saw an opening so I took it.

 

OK, I've been gone on a driving trip for over a week, 2500 miles and only one MINI spotted the entire time. A CR/W MC in Dallas. Tell me this still isn't a unique car.

Man, ya leave and look what everyones done to the place..

 

16:07 HB/W MCS in St. Charles on Dunham, I think I got a wave back (Your A-pillar was in the way hard to tell)

 

spotted 11/18 9:15am northbound ArlingtonHts Rd between central and
NW Hwy: gray/gray MCS with new temp plates. male driver, 17"
wheels... not sure if it was the webspokes or R90's as the car was
moving but it was not S-Lites.

also spotted a IB (or HB)/W MC heading northbound PlumGrove around
10:30am by Sch Honda.

i was in my silver G.

HB/B MC 21:35 Pulling out of the AMC Cantera, chased you down blinked and you turned away no response Should have joined us at the meet tonight too, we got out shortly after you as I was pulling out of Starbucks from our post movie visit.

 

IB/B 12 in LZ by Wynstone North of Miller 12:30
IB/W 14 and Ela in palatine (if it was IB/B I'd have thought it was kenchan) 12:45

And a JB MC in Shaumburg next to the Fox and Hound after todays meet

 

nnnn!! very close. i was out in my MINI yesterday afternoon in
that area...but it was more like 2-2:30pm!!!

 

spotted a IB/W MC heading northbound on ArlingtonHts Rd around 9:15am
in ElkGrove between Devon through Higgins Rd. was behind ya in a
silver G. it might have had Wisoncin plates.. i couldn't see clearly due
to your plate holder.

i didn't get a chance to motor in my MCS today.

 

Tsk tsk tsk, thats when you were supposed to be at the Fox and hound in Shaumburg.
