Hey Zagadka, is that the sign shop/Hotdog place on Haniesville and Washington? If so I eat there and get vinyl too.
tis not- he works in mundelein BUT if he worked there i bet he'd eat hot dogs everyday. is this seriously a hot dog stand and vinyl establishment rolled into one? if not, i smell business opportunity!
in addendum (is that spelled right? spelling was never my strong suit...) to what i mentioned earlier...is not hopeful MINI spotting/waving not the best part of commuting ( i mean, aside from motoring in general)?!!
sheesh- its impossible to be cranky whilst driving your min-min.
I saw his TT last year at an Audi event in the City, and met him again a few weeks ago at the Glenview Harley dealer as well as a few other people from IllinoisEuro
At 4:45am a LS/B MC at Rt 59/34 in Aurora. No wave...it was pitch black out.
Then at 12:30 this afternoon, A PW/B MSC on Rt 34 in Oswego, gave a wave and got one back. Also chatted side by side at a red light with the driver (another mom with husband as a passenger and child in the back) mentioned the club and she was going to look into it. (she wasn't aware of a MINI club)
oh yah, you guys were working while i was taking a quick breather
from my newborn.
LIDAR, huh? on cop cars or on towers/trees?
Hes got a battry powered unit it parks way deep in the trees stands in the shadow of the bottom of the hill and gets the front car of the pack coming over the crest

which crest are we talking about? Sutton and Higgins area?
thanks! I don't speed there anyways cause i don't like wind blowing
into my car in excess of 55mph. i motor my MCS with windows down.
I was crawling through because the SUV behind me wanted to kiss my tailpipes so I was giving the realtively heavy traffic (for that area) ample following distance, amazing how the sight of a Police car made them change their mind and give me some breathing room.
I saw a gazillion MINIs today but I was riding shotgun in my friend's Prius :(
But something amusing happened at the Lake Forest Oasis on I-94 when we were heading back to WI (we were in town to watch the U.S. vs. Brazil soccer match). When we pulled into the parking lot I said "Ooh! MINI!", having spotted an R56 MCS (Sparkling Silver, I think), IL plates, Knauz frame (I think). He parked in the same row, just so I could be close to another MINI. When we came out probably 30 minutes later, the R56 was replaced by a DS/B MCSC.
