Skillet didn't get his classic mini.. apparently this Apple/Sandy/CyberGypsy is one big scam artist.
The few of us who went through this with skillet have kindof formed our own weird Random Thoughts thread here.
I will say, though, if you continue reading you will eventually find out just how conniving and rotten this apple creature is.... maybe attempt to read oh,,maybe,,,10-15 pages a day?
You will also see just what a gentleman skillet is. And just maybe you will want to come in and visit with us once in a while?? We appreciate "fresh blood" and soon we will give you a nickname and get you to post pictures..

So far the first half of this thread has been hilarious. I will go back and read more of it for sure.

I was so excited for "skillet" and as everybody else, anxiously waiting for good news! Wish he had gotten it but sadfully the world is full with people like Apple.

On a better note, glad to be here and I want a nickname!

ok to catch up.... I do have a lap top, but when hubby gets home and we eat dinner and watch our favorite shows together - that is our time, he usually goes up to bed around 9 or 9:30 and watches his thing and i get back on the laptop, if i am not too tired...

Funny thing is -yesterday i was picking on Cabwy about getting everyone sice and i went to the doc for a check up, and guess what, I have a sore throat now!!!! THANK CAB!!! jk.

Hey all!! Been a while since I was on here last, had a lot of catching up to do! I too have been on the job search, and I have been helping one of my ex-coworkers build a house. Actually that is where I am off to now...later all!

mini-ized good to see you!! Doesn't this economy suck?? My husband has started several different jobs just to keep going and well, make any sort of income. Jobs like he wants just don't come along that often. :(
So the graduate courses that he teaches and his IC work really helps.
Hopefully both you and Gem can do things like that also.

Scott.... lots of 1s. Hi! Welcome to the insanity.

To sum up, Apple appears to be a scammer. She's allegedly scammed a few other folks on other boards and also appears to be a serial forum poster. The pattern appears to be that she shows up for a few months, then runs her scam and drops off the face of the earth from the forum and moves on to the next one. She does all of this under the same internet alias which is easily googled and turns up a lot of results on allegations leveled against her on other forums.

Skillet did not get the Mini, but skillet is trying to help others who were allegedly scammed by her get some legal action of some sort going against her, and I suspect that is why he has been quiet on this thread for a while. If he has contacted an attorney, the first thing they would have advised him to do is stop posting on this thread in an effort to protect any potential case they may have against her.

That's the long and short of it. It could be a while before there is a definitive end to this story because the legal system (if there is any legal action with regard to Apple's alleged behavior) is slow and building cases takes time.
