I am sorry you are sick,,, ugh,,, mine started kindof mild like that. I am better but you won't believe this, the antibiotic won't let me sleep!! Seriously, I was awake until 6:15 am. Stayed up to see hubby before he went to his class and then I slept for a big 3 hours. Same as the night prior... I called the dr to see if we can switch the meds,,, I am so sleep deprived!
Okay I talked to Will on Pogo,, Gem you have to get on there later tonight if you can. It's fun to talk on there while playing,,, this will help you practice your multi tasking,,,lol,, keeping up with NAM plus POGO plus chatting there all at once.

won't be getting on till late if i do, going out for dinner and the errands of shopping to get some food for the little one for tomorrow morning and just set up and interview for tomorrow morning also, so looks like hubby with be with the baby for a couple hours by himself. Hope i don't come home to fine hubby tied up. this little one get away with anything he wants while at grandpa's house

I logged on last night and EVERYONE was gone!! I had a really SAD/STRESSFUL day, yesterday. Yes the "L" word came up...there were 5 people (Friends) Laid Off yesterday, this is about 5% of our workforce. I work for a very small Family Owned Business and though I have only been there for just over a Year, we have become a Family and I'm feeling VERY GUILTY!!

All but 2 of my Friends had been working there for 15+ years, I couldn't help but be emotional yesterday.

I just went through a Division Shut Down with my last company not even a Year and a Half ago. I was offered another position through that one, but I left because I wasn't happy in my new position. I had worked for them just under 10 Years, too. I'm not one to move around and now I don't know what to do or what to think.

It's just so sad!!

 

OMG- you guys are not going to believe this....
This morning at 10am i went to an interview for a law office and they just called me back...

GUESS WHAT, I START TUESDAY!!!! OMG.... I ACCEPTED RIGHT AWAY, AND KEPT ASKING HUBBY, 'I SAID YES RIGHT, I SAID YES YOU HEARD ME RIGHT'

Everyone HERE was right, something better would come along, and I hope really hope the other company calls me back- now with attitude i can tell them they were unethical!!!

 

RJK- omg i'm so sorry, stay positive, and yes it is very hard seeing your friends get the bad news. believe me i know...

RJKimbell, I know how you feel, the last place I worked at was for almost 11 years. Management had changed hands and things started to change. I had been thinking of quitting for a few months and after three other people that had been there for more than 10 years quit, I decided it was my turn. Something better will come along, just hang in there. Case-in-point, GEMGIRL!!

 

gemgirlpa - I just finished catching up on everything I missed this week while travelling - and boy was there a lot!

The best part is it's only 12 minutes from my house, I have never worked that close. always a hour or so. I worst news it's only 12 minutes from my house, by the time i get the top down i'll be there!! jk..

I'm so excited and really you best believe after i get to know lawyers a bit I'll tell them about the other company and see if it was legal. It doesn't matter, because I couldn't work for them after what they did... it's all good!!

Happy Valentines day all, hope you are all having a great day. As for us, we are watching our 2 years old grandson, and *yawn* is he a handful. so our celebration -2 fold now- will be next weekend!
