If she lied about the car and the macbook air... who knows what else she's lied about?

I stand behind my statement: this woman needs help regardless of who she's related to by marriage.
+1 needing help!!!
I agree about the name thing, she saw it and ran with it!

Same here!!! If this isn't fraud, what is? Is there any reason to believe the grandma type / friend ever existed and or the Mini? Sadly Skillets emotions got put through the wringer, but he came through it smartly. Certainly better than a certain pomaceous fruit!!

So we both got new iPhones, and you can see the weather for where you are or anywhere else really. So I have mine set for SD and for where I grew up. Last night it was 60 here (Brrrr!!! It gets cold at night!) and -11 in my hometown.

Not really. That's why I moved.

Are those ice cubes rolling by your door, or is it a glacier?

-20F last night and just came in and is -2F and heading lower tonight! Windchills hit -38F....

Wouldn't have gone out, but got a call to come check over the finished bodywork on the passenger side of my Mini. Its on its fourth round of primer and sanding and will be finished out tomorrow.
Next up is the driver's side door skin, outer sill, inner sill & A-panel

Should be ready to paint by the end of the month. Will post up a couple of pics of the passenger side this weekend (my time, not "apple" time in case anyone thinks about making a comment!)

I have not named my Mini yet . Its a '79 RHD that will be painted Island Blue w/ Old English White roof. I'm from England originally - hence my love for British cars......

Throw out some names while we are all drinking beer and eating popcorn!

Hey, I always look at the "new posts" on the left hand side of the screen and see if there's anything interesting. Some of you may have already seen this... it was posted on one of the Random thoughts threads. I thought it was hysterical when I watched the performance tests... but I may have just been in a weird mood.

Anyway, enjoy:

There will be NO SLAPPING!! By the time it warms up there, you'll have forgotten all about me (especially since you'll be able to drive topless).

Which brings up a dilemma I have. My house gets a bit chilly in the winter. Nothing like a lot of you exerience -- Seattle usually only dips into the high 20's-mid-30s. However, I notice my red wine often dips into the range that is proper for white wine and I need to either wrap the bottles and place them near the space heater, or quickly zap my glass in the microwave.

So, wuick question: Do wine "refrigerators" also work to keep red wine warm? Is there some other solution?

Oh, and DHHIY?

Also: Let's try to get this to 2009 before the weekend is out. I figure between the folks trapped by Arctic blasts, and those of us who 'work' on the weekend we ought to be able to achieve the next prize level.
