Goooood morning all!!! Well, it is cold here,,,,, COLD!! But I am all snug in my house with REI woolies on. Funny thing is that we have a social event tonight and it is going to be a fish fry---- haha the guys will be cooking outside in this weather,,,, wonder if the food will officially cook in these conditions?? The fish and lobster were caught on a diving/hunting trip to Tortugas, Fla. So it should be really good.
And, I have decided since there are so many disgruntled "lurkers" who then go to other posts and complain about our nonsense: I will try to post something about classic minis with each post.

I have really enjoyed this Classic mini section( see? isn't it a shame that others can't see how they this has increased our interest in classics?) and I have decided that I would like a mini truck,,, they are awesome!!

dimini started a thread of holiday pictures and started it off with his mini truck in the snow,,, I have been pining ever since....

I know some people might say the mini truck is silly, but that lifted truck is ridiculous!

Oh, and DHHIY?
Can't help you on this one, I'm hoping to get a wine refrigerator by next year when our "basement bar" is finished. But some google searches might help with your question. When I am ready to purchase one, I too plan on doing some research on the web for a good on. I do remember seeing some in the past that have a setting for white or red wine.

We just got iPhones (mine was for my birthday) and yeah, Pandora is totally awesome! I told it I like R.E.M. and it has picked out all kinds of songs I like from them and from other groups I already like. I'm looking forward to hearing new groups to like.

This is my dream "classic"

I am fairly new to MINIs in general but really new to the Classic Mini, but check this one out. I love the Cabrios and this is the one that I would want. Too bad it is for sale in England. Anyone in England planning a trip to the US? I wonder if the MINI and the Mini would play nice? Maybe I could talk them into "FREE" shipping?

Very cool Mini pickup....

Always love the pictures of a Mini Pickup against a jacked up, full-size truck. Since I used to live in the South (TN, TX, & OK), I would have loved to have driven a Mini pickup....

Cabwy - What a great garage mate for Sloopy Go for it!!! Perhaps you should start a reverse "free Mini" thread - Looking for a Free Mini Pickup!

On the question of wine refrigerators. I would tend to think that since they are generally well insulated they would probably keep the wine at close to the right temp even during very cold periods.

Thanks for the suggestions on Mini names. I have always thought of a Classic Mini as a she.... but I had a good chuckle with BRRRRRRRRRRICE

For those in the arctic chill - Stay Warm Free Classic Mini...-a_campfire1.gif

For those who did not see the Mini Jolly on Barrett Jackson last night - it sold for $49K

Ha! You'll probably only get pelted for thinking (in the other thread) that we thought the PT Cruiser was a MINI! Silly silly.

Nice Classics!

The husband and I had seen a beaten down "Mini" truck in downtown Sarasota. We had thought about getting it but it would have needed lots of work.

There are many cars and trucks that I would like (Classics) but there's a picture of one advertisement in one of my Classic books that makes me want that one. Unfortunately it's not "Classic" Classic... it's 1997 (I think). It's a picture with a young boy in a barn I think... have to look that up later.

And although I would really love a Riley Elf... well, I'll try to post a video of another Classic that I would like to have.

Ooh I love the classics... slightly modified.

NOW THAT IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!! I WANT ONE!!!

My hubby and i were out one day and came across a used car lot with just upper end classic cars in the lot.
Well there was a classic Rover mini convertible- i screamed "stop" and we went to look at it. The top was a snap on rag top, dark blue and the car was simular to pepper white. BEAUTIFUL I tell you!
it was a 1970 (door unlocked and outdated owners card in the glove box)...
then next day it was gone.. I hope it found a good home,
