1971 Innocenti Mk3. Only had her two weeks. Very original and in excellent shape. In the process of charging up the hydrolastic suspension. Been a blast so far.
LOVE looking at old Mini's! Such variety and as someone once said...it's the Mr. Potato Head of the car world! Here's my 1973 Innocenti Mini Cooper 1300 in Bleu Scurro and Bianco Avorio. (gotta roll your "R"s) Such a sweet car. The gauges are all in Italian. I put little blue dots on the KPH speedo at 35, 50 and 65 mph. Helps with the guess work.
Very nice bfm. Gorgeous seats. And if you get pulled over and are asked "Do you know how fast you were going?" you can reply 'between 50 and 65' and be telling the truth.
Very nice innocenti so you have there. I wish I had that swivel quarter window and gauges on my classic. It's one those things that make the Innocenti very special.

I know what you mean. I previously had a '60 Mini and the Inno is a huge improvement. It had all the "things" I wanted in a Classic and more. Though some of the parts especially trim can be a challenge to find if needed. But you don't see too many of these around!
Yeh nice looking Inno, I just bought mine a month ago. Plan on doing a preventive resto just to keep it in good shape.Mine still has the original floor mats, and has anyone ever seen one with a rubber mat in it. Mine has one that is custom fitted that came in it originall. Its white with black stripes and says everest raid on it. I have never seen one before.
I'm new to the forum, located in Colorado and my wife and I are now the proud caretakers of this 68 Austin Cooper S that went through a full restoration in the late nineties.
It's been a while since I last checked in on this thread. There are some really great Minis in the past 4-5 posts. Wow! I really love bfm01's Innocenti, Whalenrun's Cooper S MKII, and Stl Zonie's '72 white w/red top (to name a few)--very nice!
One of my favorite color combos is White w/Red top... a nice reversal of the more common red/white theme.
I absolutely love your car. I have the picture of your wheel looking up from the ground at the building as one of my screen saver pictures, along with a few other of your car.
You should drive around town in the racing gear with the helmet all the time. haha. That would definitely turn some heads, as though the car doesn't do enough of that already.
Do you drive it on the street for leisure much? I'd be afraid of the roll cage if I wasn't wearing a helmet...
