Way did some of the original work when I first bought Tink, and got her to be safe enough to make it MME. He also helped me get some the parts I needed and diagnose some those wonderful challenges. I took her to Strohm Automotive that specializes in MGs, but Jeanette, the owner's wife, has a classic and they really did a great job. They are certified by the British Automotive Trade Association.

Do they accept new customers, or was this a "favor for a friend" kinda deal? My IDEAL situation is to bring the car in for a few things (brake check-up, installation of an electronic ignition and re-timing, installation of a new exhaust system/cat delete, etc.) and then watch over their shoulder so I know if I can do the work again on my own in the future or of it's realistically beyond my capabilities/tool box. Do you think they'd let me do that?

Either way, can you PM me with their contact info?

Thanks!!

It looks so weird with the fenders missing. I like the bonnet sitting over in the background in the 1st pic. kinda looks like a shark about to attack.

Norm...will the bonnet open normally, or is it welded into the fenders? Or I guess it could all be a single fiberglass piece?
