Hey J&M'sMini,

What does that nice looking aluminum tube do on the intake?

Tell us more about your coils and adjustable shocks too. Did you oval out the mounting holes to get more camber?

Thx.

I'd like a sound clip, I like the cleaner look, don't wan't to hassle with a K&N, may go Alta though.

TIA!!

..prolly doesn't do much more than look better by replacing the big bulky plastic intake silencer, ...it does have a throatier sound too.

The Megan coilovers have built in adjustable camber plates. The mounting holes already are oval, had previously done the "free camber" by removing the guiding pin..and shifted the mount over, ..when I installed the new coils just kept it that way...for now. I do also plan on getting some washers under those mounting nuts (that came with the coils) ..the factory nuts have a wider base.

I'll try and get a decent sound clip this weekend, ..I've seen where some folks didn't like it..said too loud. ...I only notice a real difference under heavy acceleration.
..I shoulda got a clip of it this past Sunday, when we were out driving in country with local club...but I usually keep the mic off on the dash cam because with stereo turned up it just distorts all audio recording.

..a pic from club drive...we found some nice isolated back roads hardly any other vehicles....but lots of cattle guard crossings

J&M - that VIP intake tube looks real nice. Very clean. Might be worth the $150 just for the looks - I think I have basically accomplished the same thing with the 'modified intake silencer' but it doesn't look that good.

What do they mean in their description - This version is the quiet intake system.

Is that a "silver" bullet? Are you expecting vampires?

I went from the typical "Stubby" to this little "Nubby" recently.

Sorry, no picture of it installed yet.

ADDED: I dub the Sir Nubby!

I thought the 2'' stubby from Alta was short. The bullet and the nubby have the stubby beat for sure.

There is no way that statement would make sense anywhere else but here.

Got me some new vinyl at Detroit Tuned today! HL&TL rings, boot handle went BRG, new matte black offset stripes from bottom bumper over bonnet, over roof, down the boot and a beltline blackout kit and blacked out the grille surround. To say I love it is an understatement

The Angry Hamster got the right touches - nice! Body color trim rings etc. are the only way to go IMO. WELL DONE!
