It's an '09 with full JCW kit, 17" Katana wheels, and low profile tires. I just got into customizing my car, next on my list is a black boot handle, black headlight rings, side scuttles, stripes and tint. Any other suggestions?!

I think you got it all covered. I would have preferred black wheels, i really love the white/black.
Which stripes are you going for? I think the black viper ones would look good with pepper white stripes on the roof.

I can cut my own custom stripes at home, I'll be doing wider viper stripes with a pin stripe on the outsides, if that makes sense. I'd like them to come all the way down through the bumper, unlike a lot of factory stripes I see.
like this: .. ..... ...... ..
I'm not sure about scuttles, either black jack or JCW mesh.

i would vote against the black jack, i think the white on them would clash against the pepper white of the car. i have them, the white on them is white white.
There are some SWEET Coopers in this thread!! I don't have a nice shot yet but will share my parking lot pic anyway of my week old 2010... 17's with 215/45's, blacked out trim and 35% tint:
If you take the headlight lens off it's a lot easier. But you can just take the turn signal bulb out, look inside, and see the clips that hold the orange lens on. If you don't take the headlight lens you have to sort of wiggle the turn signal lens out of the housing.

Not that I did it myself since my MINI dealership *owed* me so I had them put them in, but...
My '08 does not have the Xenons and my lens for the turn signal is clear - it was the bulb that was orange. Now the bulb is silver/clear with an orange filament. I think you change the bulb from the wheel well - there is a little secret door there.
I have since noticed on newer MINIs that the lens covering the turn signal bulb is orange, like you point out, drewster.
