Ooops, just noticed you have a Gen 1 - I believe the IE fixed plates will give you about -1.25 camber. That is still a great improvement for the street but you might want more which means the adjustables.

Fixed camber plates give you -1.25 + whatever you have so it's more than that,if your intention is street use stay on the stock springs, the car dont have much suspension travel as it is and the Koni FSD's are recomended for stock springs, lowering the car= rougher ride, the need to adjust the camber both front and rear while the shocks wont last as long, all this adds up to more money the mini handles like dyanimite as it is .

awesome. well i dont plan to lower my mini any time soon and ill be getting the IE fixed camber plates and keeping my OEM springs. i know the purpose of the camber plates are for the handling of the car but im more interested in the IE plates for the anti mushroom properties (hope that doesnt sound too dumb.)

Now i feel im informed enough to drop some cash on this mini! btw, if i stick to stock springs and FSD shocks w/ ie camber plates, what kind of tire wear would i see with -1.25 degree camber?

Actually the IE plate is made with a 1/4" steel plate. It should work fine for the anti mushroom properties. There are actually some pictures in NAM here showing the mushrooming and how to fix it (with a block of wookd and a hammer)

As for tire wear - should be nothing unsual with the IE plates. "They" say that up to -2 deg should be fine. However, that is not to say that you don't find yourself going around corners much faster which in its own right will accelerate tire wear . But you can always drive more sedately to keep that from happening.
