The OE M+S Pirelli Cinturato P7 in the snow...
... are mediocre at best.
Got a little chance to test them in about an inch of snow in northern Virginia at the end of last week. I will now take the "+S" with a grain of salt (on the roads). They don't seem to bite into the ice and powder much at all.
With traction control on (DSC, not DTC), ALL4, and the ABS doing its job, slowing down into a turn means moving straight ahead with the front wheels pointing somewhere else. Fun maybe, but not safe. I almost overshot my driveway.
This is compared to Hankook Winter I*Pike tires on a front wheel drive 1998 Honda Civic which was perfectly happy to drive in 4+ inches of snow we had a while back.
I'm back to believing all season tires do not exist.
That said, they're fine in everything else.
