Wind Up Key

I know... kinda silly but my daughter thinks it'd be cool to have a wind up key in the rear tow hook place... I DID search, but came up empty... Any suggestions? (Polite ones only please)

If anybody gets the MC2 magazine, there was an article about a husband and wife who had matching new and old mini's and she had a bit turn key installed on the back of her classic mini with an electric motor so it would turn when she hit the switch...i thought it was really cool and original.

If I were to try something like this I'd start by checking the toy store for something plastic to modify in the little kiddies section.

I might buy one of these to put on my Mini at shows. Everyone says it needs a wind up key.

Will this void Mini warranty if you tap in their 12v supply wire?

Well, you DID just share it with the MINIverse...and since we all seem to have a quirky sense of humor...I can see the demand being pretty high!!

I would so buy one!! I smaller one though , as MDLMini suggests one that would fit the rear tow.

I'll try one out for you.

I live in Virginia Beach and between the Hubby and I we travel the touristy stripe area at least once or twice a weekend for a cruise. High visablity means more sales!!!

I saw the windup key from that first link on a MINI already here near where I live.

To me it would be funny for a little while...but eh..
