hmm lets see.. Ringer = Someone paid or requested to come to an event that has an advantage over normal particapents in said event.

Well since i wasn"t resquested to come up there and Paul hasn't Paid me yet im still not quite considered a Ringer but i come dang close

Yep the race is down here in Richmond at www.gforcekarts.com We also have a 4 man team currently and since there is a manatory 3 pit stops we have different setup just incase one person doesnt make it or more wish to show up. You can read more about it here http://www.rivercityminis.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=603 The pace and wear me out factor is greater than at all sport. also even the reg karts have been updated to the Superkarts style of kart but still having the 6.5hp motor. aka the seats wont give you the bruises. If you check the top 100 of all time.. my Racing name is Grumpy i should still be around the 50th overall. I've Been perfecting my Drifting style with the Superkart and havent worried about best time. For me theres noting better than going around the hairpin in full 90% slide job and seeing the kids watching looking like this . If you are ever comeing down this way send me an email im always ready to go.. as for now until Dec 4. i work M-wed and Sat 6:40pm to 5:40 am. So yes for the event i didnt get any sleep but i wasnt going to miss it.. after Dec 4 i have a shift change in that i work M-Wed and Fri 5:10pm to 4:10 am so make sure its either around Noon or on my day off

Pictures Available

I have just posted my best pictures from the GoKart event on my photo site at http://www.pbase.com/tomcat/go_kart

If you want to fetch a picture -- say IMG_2789 -- click on it. You will see that the address of the picture is http://www.pbase.com/tomcat/image/52604529 and you can download it as http://www.pbase.com/tomcat/image/52604529.jpg i.e. adding a .jpg on the end.

FYI -- I took the 2700-series with my Canon 20D. The 0100 series pictures came from Elizabeth with her new sub-compact camera.
