yes they do...up to a point. Obviously if there is lightening/thunder..they stop. If it isn't tooooooo heavy, they continue, but they will call it if it is really bad.

Actually, that was the earlier game, which was last night's game, only postponed until this afternoon due to the weather (therefore creating a double header).

The game we attended, which was the 7pm game... Nationals won 4-3, with a 2-run homerun in the bottom of the 7th inning - an exciting jump from being down 2-3!

That's odd, we got out of there after the game was over, virtually no traffic, smooth sailing all the way home. Sorry to hear you had such trouble - see you there again tomorrow morning!

I've never been to a ball-game....it was very cool! And the night was beautiful...could't have asked for better weather for the DC to JC leg!
