Tireshine on plastic arches, how do i remove?

Hey guys, I used a tireshine on the tires and let dry overnight.
When i got to work the next day i noticed it splattered all over the wheel arches. Now i see grease spots on the black finish. What do you guys use to remove this?

As a newb, i will never use tire shine on my mini again! First time and last time!

Try Mothers Back-to-Black. I use it on the black plastic trim on all my cars. It cleans and restores the color back to the factory look even on my son's '97 Acura. The black trim looks like new.

Actually Back to Black isn't so much a cleaner as it is a dressing/conditioner. Try Black Wow since I make it and included cleaners in it, and it will look superior to Back to Black not to mention your bottle will last the life of your MINI.

See www.blackwow.com for retailers

My forthcoming PreWow would be a perfect candidate for cleaning this off as well.

I actually purposely do my black trim with tire shine sometimes for a meet/show. It shines more than the other back to black stuff i have. (i hope this is ok?)

I would spray the tire shine onto your cloth/paper towel first and then apply that way. Same with any spray really, it gets all over the place.

To avoid the tire shine slinging off the tires look for a water based brand. It's not oily and won't sling off. And use black wow on the trim work. But tape off the paint with painters tape before. Black wow is safe on paint but not that easy to get off

Good advice! But just FYI, a clean microfiber towel and some glass cleaner like Prima Clarity will take it right off.

It should, but I've only tried Prima Clarity which is pretty mild so I would imagine should be the same for any glass cleaner. Also the purpose of the Trim Masking card is to keep the BW off the paint as a little guard, so there should be no need for taping.
