My MCS's turbo dead, need detailer in San Diego area
mod, please move if not posted to correct area...
the turbo in my Mini blew up, so I had to buy another car, and I am looking for a detailer. I have not had any time to look through any VW sites, so I'm asking here for recommendations for a quality professional detailer in San Diego county, or Orange County. If Orange, I would have to sit at your shop, and I need it done in one day/sitting. I would pay by credit card, maybe cash if people here can vouche for your work.
The car is a black 2012 4 door VW GTI, cloth interior and oem rims. The car is 7 days old, had to buy out of State since the Mini died while I was on vacation, and has LOTS of hard water spots ALL over the exterior paint, rubber, and plastics. I opted to have the dealer not try to clean their new car, as they were the ones that let it sit in sprinkler anyways, and I saw them Post deliver a car to someone else-not high quality work...
Interior work would be basic, other than cat hair on the cloth seating areas (cat travels with me)
I'd like a full multistep done on the car, not a quick detail type and the sooner the better.
If anyone can help please PM me, or post up.
Thanks,
Thomas
P.S. the turbo started spitting pieces of metal one day while 2000 miles from home, it wasn't pretty to hear. If you happen to read my whopping 7 posts here, I just had the car into the dealer for new oem pads/rotors and a complete interior/exterior detail too :(. It was a fun car to drive while it lasted, and there were no Mini dealers where I was to get another.
