Hey now, you only caught me because I freaked out after my little trail-braking experiment on turn 1 . Once I get the brakes sorted, look out!

It was good seeing you again and swapping stories. The other Mini-heads were definitely missed!

It was fun other than the scare.

Remember I had Porsche bob in my car and he needed the a/c on. That is like throwing down two boat anchors.

Porsche Bob was feeling a little hot because of the weather so he turned on the a/c on full. It was approx 92 degrees F.

Should have come.

How about Patroon LRP in August. Any takers?
I had a tire go flat on me on the Thruway once. No idea why. I even checked the tire from the inside. Rim was good but the tire just lost air. Time for new tires maybe? You can always have the rim checked with a dye penetrant (ZYGLO). That is the only other thing it could be.

LRP...is looking doubtful for me right now...just got the vet and other bills from last month

Yup, time for new tires. Have the new tires already in the garage. Just wanted to run these down to the cords, same as s-driver. They have perhaps 1-2 days left in thread at the most.

VV, s-driver, Suss, Claymore, GKP,

Do you want to do 2 days at LRP. Looks like Eddie may be a little poor due to Vet bills.

Will the MPGs and APS be there?

Feel the same way. The issue for menis the limited available of time off does not allow mr to be as focused on certain clubs.

Your fav BMWCCA Patroon August 19-20 Friday and Saturday. Regular HPDE Friday 4 x 20 minutes sessions. Then open track Saturday morning, two groups around 2 to 2.5 hours. Cost is $500 for both days. MPG is the registrar.

Both of those dates are open for me. It'll depend on who else is going and the weather.

I am seriously thinking about going. Maybe the two MPGs will be there and we can certainly try to get APS as well. Eddie was usually good to go with too much arm twisting but the darn expensive vets took all his track money.

Btw, too early to predict weather.

Long range forecast is calling for an extended period of light starting around dawn, followed by a period of darkness, starting around dusk...

Yup, could probably get you that with some possibility of clouds or rain thrown in. Does that mean you will be going?

If I had known that, I would have taken a ride with with you to wear the tires out. It only took 4 laps around LRP with me the car to cord S-Driver's tires

So the lesson to be learned here is - Don't take Eddie075 for a ride! He makes people cord their tires!!!!

Well, my arm has been twisted...no more vets allowed, though (Veggies not counted)

I checked DJ's last message and it says open track Saturday is for advance and experienced drivers, so I should be good for the 2 days.

Any really cheap places to stay around there?

I have stayed in Torrington, Falls Village and Canaan. I do not remember that it was cheap though.

Maybe we tent at veggi's. Bring him some good vegan stuff and we can have a party at the veggi pound.

maybe that will get him to join us at LRP.

Do veggi burgers count?

Has anyone signed up yet for this LRP event?

You guys can absolutely stay at my place even if I don't end up going. I'm 50 minutes from LRP.

Can you sign up for just one day, or do you have to do both?
