Is it possible to put a blow-off valve on a 06 MCS? If so, how and where do you mount it???

Quick simple answer: No. If you have a supercharged MCS, you cannot get a blow off valve.

My understanding, the purpose of a blow off valve is to release high pressure in the intake after the throttle body closes to prevent trapped air from going back into your turbocharger and causing it to temporary stall. However most people get them because they sound bada$$.

And not that it's necessary with a belt-driven sc, but the bypass valve, in addition to it's intended function, accomplishes the release of intake pressure.

Why are you guys telling him it's not possible, because it is....

He asked if you could put a BOV on an 06' MCS, and the answer is yes, it just has to be turbo'd.

So go twincharge or turbo only, you'll love the power and the sound!

Reminds me of the Focus forums, where a bunch of no-nothing teenagers spend $3-5K for a turbo setup just so they can install a $150 BOV for the cool sound. And make their cars completely undrivable, but hey! it sure sounds cool!
Don't go there with a MINI. The Gods/Godesses are watching.
(note: if you are a hard-core HP junkie, and go turbo-only for the ultimate rush, and need the BOV to protect your parts, the above does not apply. You guys know what you're doing. The rest? *******. )

LOL thanks for the replys but I dont want a speaker that makes a noise. The only thing that I wanted to get a BOV was to make the noise. I don't want to put any turbos or anything, sounds too risky!
