yoyo after pulley install

I have an 06 and never really experienced the "yoyo" effect that everyone talks about. I recently installed a 15%pulley about 1 month ago. Recently I have noticed the engine bog till around 3000rpms and then take off with partial throttle yoyo. It didn't do this when I first installed the 15%pulley. I took the intercooler off and looked to see if the AGS mod was still attached and the intercooler was coated with unburned gas/sludge. It runs noticeably richer. Any suggestions to fix this problem or what is wrong?

I read in another thread that someone with this problem got an ECU tune. Got the AFR in check. Check around for threads on that topic.

Yeah, something doesn't sound right. A 15% pulley should help the A/F ratio, not hurt it. And from you sig, the 3% crank pulley should cause you to run even more lean. The junk you found in the intercooler was not unburned gas. It was oil that entered as a vapor into the intake through the crankcase vent or PCV system. As it went through the intercooler, it condensed and left a puddle on the outlet boot. The VGS is supposed to eliminate the yoyo, you might want to try removing it and see if that does anything. You could also disconnect the negative lead of the battery for a couple minutes to reset the ECU.

I will try disconnecting the battery to reset the ecu. Does anyone have a picure of an oil catch can installed. I have one but its large and have nowhere to install it. I will try that if it doesn't work I put the vgs mod back to stock.
