Anyone else order this exhaust? Any soundclips? I ordered mine today and should be shipped here by next friday....hope it isnt ricer
I figure 275$ for an exhaust is pretty darn good.

I don't have the Volt, but I was considering it. This post should help in the way of purchasing a cheap exhaust. This also looks very similar to the Magnaflow exhaust.
I bought a cheap "ebay" exhaust about two months ago (TCSportline). I was debating about whether to get it, along with a few other people. I didn't want to spend $700+ on an exhaust (piping), so I took the plunge. The exhaust said it fit 02-06', which is impossible because the hangers changed (although some exhausts can accomodate this). I did it anyway. The installation quote was $150, but it took them another hour so it went up to a little over $200. It didn't fit right at all- cutting and heat bending required. Total was about $520! It sounds awesome- no leaks or problems so far!
If you are going to buy an exhaust that is cheap, make sure you go to a GOOD exhaust shop. This is imperative, as one other NAMer was not so lucky with his installation of the TCSportline.
Here's the full review.

''This system looks a lot like a Magnaflow system, but has may differences. After testing this system on several cars, we have come to find that there is no drone out of this system and gives the car a great tone that is much louder than stock, but not too loud for every day driving.''

I don't doubt they would say that, but some companies will do anything to sell their product. This statement is also purely subjective-
"but not too loud for every day driving"
Some people prefer loud and some don't. What are the differences? It can't be that much different- after all its just piping!

04 MCS models built before sometime in Jan 04 have the same hangers as 02-03.
My 9/03 build 04 has the old system.

I recieved mine on Monday. It's a work of art, almost looks like jewelry. Great trumpets and as large as will fit in the S exhaust area. I talked to Chad at DT and they are very impressed with the system. I'm going to get it installed on Th or Fr. Looking forward to it.

Just checked out the Magnaflow systems. They are very well known and respected exhaust systems. However, the Volt's welds are more precise and cleaner and the finish on the Volt (Who's going to see it) is twice as good. Same design, better finish, 1/2 the price...it's a no brainer...Go Detroit Tuned...

Well installed the Volt today. My MCS is an 09/03 Build. It went in like a glove, there was not even a slight glich. Once off the rack I started it up and the sound was great. Much like the stock system but much louder and a little throatier. Went out on I285 a cruised at various speeds, no droning. I ran it at 70, 80 and a little higher and there was absolutly no droning. The sound thru the gears is much like the OEM except louder. It is throaty all the way up without screaming. I really like it a lot. I didn't want it too loud as I live in a closed community and have to leave early in the morning once in a while. No problem. I like to hear my engine talk to me (sort of like the Mario Andretti ad for Magna-Flo) so it's just right. That's from a guy that sold his 1996 SVT Cobra with a Bassani X Pipe and Flowmasters (Great Sound!) Hope this helps you out.
