well...hopefully I got my order in just in time so it'll arrive early next week. By the way, what will it sound like combined with the turbo back, and how much power does it add when combined with turbo back????

I have a question about the air diverter (Alta or MiniMadness): so does this not occlude the radiator at all? Would that even make a difference?

ltjpunk7: It does NOT harm the airflow to the radiator at all. Only forces the air to be directed over both components equally and as it should. It does reduce turbulence and lowers inlet temps. ALTA2 can better answer for the specifics. Also, ours will also be compatible with our ic sprayer kit too. Coming soon!

SEAL6: The first kits shipped to dealers and clients and the next batch is being readied now for shipment late next week. Sorry for the delay! MSRP is $289.99 - any applicable club discounts.

Thanks guys!

Thanks Adam! So I take it if I were to call up Grand Prix Imports and have them order and install it for me they should be able to get it right?

I prolly could install it myself with instructions...but somehow I don't feel too comfy ripping out the current airbox in my car and getting this installed on my own.

Hey Adam,
After you had yours installed did you leave your hoodscoop cover on or off? If off is there any worry of things flying into it (debris, water, etc)? Kinda worried if I took it off about those things.

nothing to worry about if you take it off. On later version cars, they are partially open anyway. So no big deal if you take it completely out. Let me know how you like it after GPi installs it!

Just installed the intake! Looks sweet and sounds even more sweeeeet! Haven't done a full power run, but right now it seems to have even more low end power with my exhaust!! Gotta love the psshhhh:~) Nice work Alta!

I love it Adam! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT!!!
What a great compliment with the cat back exhaust!
Not to mention the wonderful sound it makes now....PSSSSSSSSSST! I almost feel like I should be in The Fast and Furious or something...
In non-Sport button mode I noticed a a substanial increase in acceleration...you know that "get up and go"! Sport mode...well... Maybe that face explains it.

Again GPi has done a great job with the install and I left with a huge smile on my face! Adam, you guys at Alta rule...like BIG TIME!

So Adam...and others,
The blow off sound from the intake...is that a good thing or a bad thing? What causes it? I'm just curious how it works.

It is NORMAL thing. The intake doesn't change anything related to the BOV other than remove the muffler for it (OEM Intake Box). So the noise has been there all along, you are just now hearing it for the first time. Hope tha thelps!

Thanks again!
