As promissed some comparison pictures of the stock versus the R56 Ram scoop.
The R56 Ram Scoop is intended to be stylishly agressive, flow with the
lines of the car, and with that add some extra needed airflow under hood.

Why does color of M7 ram not match hood?

Is this on purpose?

Other than color of scoop, I see no big different in scoop. It appears same scoop as before maybe little different. Do you have chart for scoop different?

Maybe you posted up wrong picture.

Please be patient. Bar graphs don't just make themselves.

The scoop is a different color because it hasn't been painted yet. Also, these are the correct pictures; if you notice on the side of the M7 scoop farthest away from the camera, you can see that the edge is slightly higher than the hood. This shows that the scoop will have a slightly larger opening, with raised upper/side edges for a ram effect.

The height of the scoop is different, take a close look at your scoop and you will see that it's profile is flush with the hood line. The profile of the
Ram Scoop is slightly out and up in to the airstream grabbing the air more efficiently. As I also stated, the Ram Scoop is not designed to be overly agressive, we leave that to the R56 Extreme.
As for the color..... Please.

Ah! I see small differences which is good. I saw one scoop at the local dealer that makes me think of how do you say - oliphant pinniped? Very very ugly. Your scoop is very similar to stock -so similar I cannot tell difference!

I am not understanding you on color. I like the yellow mini. Can I buy one scoop in yellow or only grey?

Based on the picture, I like it! But I think I need to see it in person, or see both scoops from a few different angles, painted the same color.

I can't tell if you're serious or being very funny on purpose. Although, now that I think about it, it would be very convenient if you could order it to match the stock R56 colors, for a reasonable extra charge.

Why do you need extra air flow?

the gray is primer. Primer is a base coat of spray for sealing materials so they have a good smooth foundation to paint on.

In other words... its not painted yet

Last call...the recent posts to this thread appear to be the same usual attempts to stir the pot. If you don't have anything to contribute to the discussion in this thread take it elsewhere. Additional posts of this nature will result in infractions and/or strikes being issued.

have a sense of humor... no one is bashing M7... no one is calling them names... no one is saying there product doesn't work. There is no slander. I understand that you are the owner of the website and all... but everything is pretty well on topic. I also know that they are your advertiser and you need to defend them... but... there is nothing to defend them from...

Actually no...the issue here is that there are users that repeatedly go into threads across the site and attempt to disrupt the discussion going on. This is the same I see going on here. Additionally our dear Vonshom Hallenbee has been banned since the account was coming from the same IPs as Skiploder...who has also received a strike for setting up this account and using it for the purpose of disrupting threads on the site.

Will this be available in black plastic only or are there plans for carbon fiber and other colors perhaps? Does this allow for the blow off valve to be heard as other intakes allow?

Quite interested in this.

Couple questions for you, M7:
1) Is the filter foam, oiled fiber, or dry fiber?
2) What material is the unit built out of? Fiberglass? Plastic?
3) How much does the unit weigh in comparison to the stock box?
4) Will it work with the stock scoop, or will it require purchase of your ram scoop?
5) Do you have a ballpark on price ($200-300, $300-400, $400+)?

Thanks a lot. Unit looks great!
