Quite interested in this.
As I mention It will be available in black gelcote, CF overlay (to keep price down) but retain the look of the real thing. And I'm looking in to the possibillity of having the units color matched to the car.

We also designed the unit to work with STB's etc.

Thanks a lot. Unit looks great!

If you now turn the hood scoop into a ram air setup, none of that air coming in the scoop can be used to cool the engine compartment. That doesn't seem like such a great idea.

1.) The filter is a multistage foam filter

2.) Fiberglass/CF (optional)

3.) Slightly more but not by much

4.) Works very well with the stock scoop but even better with the optional
Ram or Extreme scoop.

5.) > $450

It's good I have some time to spend on the Computer...

Yes it does get hot under the intake no doubt, but we do have an answer
and a solution to those issues to. The possitive side of the "it's so hot
it must be bad" is that the air entering in to the intake is ambient not
50ºF above, and believe me it makes a world of a difference performance wise.
As for the question about the blow-of valve noise....Sorry it's almost as quiet as stock.

Is there a possibility of having a sound clip of the intake installed and engine running and revving (or quick video)?

The blow off sound is ok if it is a little louder than stock (you can barely hear it with the stock box now) instead of sounding like a bus. Subtle rather than annoying IMO.

It is too bad that some people that do not own an R56 are so eager to make sly remarks about companies that are trying to improve the second gen. Mini and yes the AGS-R will be MADE IN AMERICA

Looks pretty good, the only thing that seems weird is that thermal blanket of some sort over the manifold/turbo heat shield.

VCR is slang for our local sunday meeting place Village Coffee Roaster. You cna find out all you need at this site.

www.supecarsunday.com

Everything from twin turbo Lambos to rat rods . We usually get 250 to 300 cars on a normal sunday and 350 to 500 on the last sunday of the month. I wil be there this sunday as well. The event goes from about 8 am to 10:30 and then we go off into the hills for a bit. Come on by it is worth the drive.
